Maybe it's a similiar problem than described in http://drupal.org/node/474618
But i'm using a regular field and use the "Rewrite the output of this field" option.
The field appears in the content set settings, but when you import the values you get the original value of the field and not the one which is influenced be the "Rewite ..." option.
In the preview of the view you can see the expected value, so the rewrite function seems to work.

Basically the same thing as #474618: Global: Custom text fields in view not available for migration - the solution (if there is one) will be pretty much the same.
