Hello, I am attempting to install the newest
Migrate release candidate for Migrate 2.6 (migrate-7.x-2.6-rc1.tar.gz).
As soon as I install it and try to enable it I get the error

This is on a fresh install of Drupal 7.31.

Here is my order of operations to reproduce.

1) Install fresh copy of Drupal 7.31.
2)Install Migrate 7.x-2.6-rc1
3)Click enable installed modules
4)The error pops up.

The release candidate does not work at all with Drupal 7.31.
Should I try an older version of Drupal 7?

Hello, I just tested this on a drupal 7.26 install.
The module installed just fine on my drupal 7.26 install.
Not sure what is causing the error with Drupal 7.31.

I cannot reproduce this with the latest Migrate -dev on a post-7.31 Drupal install (git clone of 7.x). Could you try with the latest -dev? The 2.6-rc1 release is pretty old by now...

Please, try to update yout database if the module needs update. You can launch the script via /update.php

Had the same problem after updating to 7.x-2.7 with WSOD saying "undefined function migration_load() in ...includes\menu.inc "
Fixed by using drush to clear the caches
