I was getting some of these error in my file migration and it turned out that the files were in my D6 files table (source) but didn't exist on the file system.

Is there any way that this error message could return more data? or no?
Like in this case some sort of file not found message.

The specific error can be found in the migration's message table (linked from the Messages column in the UI, or viewable with the drush migrate-messages command).

The bogus "no error provided" message has been fixed: #1952430: Bogus "New object was not saved, no error provided" message.
