Support for Drupal 7 is ending on 5 January 2025—it’s time to migrate to Drupal 10! Learn about the many benefits of Drupal 10 and find migration tools in our resource center.
When I do an import via the media module and its media_internet submodule pasting the example URL from your module homepage into the file field, the video will be imported (or embedded) but the preview image in folder files/media-ted don't.
Example URL: http://www.ted.com/talks/apollo_robbins_the_art_of_misdirection.html
Same import via media_youtube to files/media-youtube is working fine.

Will have a look in the next couple of days. It is quite possible TED have changed the way the metadata is output.
Cheers,
Dan

As I suspected TED have changed things around. On the upside, they finally support oEmbed which made life easier.
Pushed a fix on the 7.x-1.x branch.
Cheers,
Dan
P.S. I've also pushed a cleaned-up 7.x-2.x branch which follows the examples set by media_youtube/media_vimeo and changes in file_entity/Media. All further development will happen there.
