Thank you for the great module!

We've run into an issue with being unable to masquerade using the float block if having logged in to the site using Shibboleth Authentication.

Regular masquerade via the menu appears to work fine when logged in to the site using Shibboleth Authentication. This issue only seems to happen when using the Masquerade float block.

Has anyone else run into a similar issue?

Thanks for creating this ticket Brad :) I agree masquerade_float_block is a great module.

Those two masquerade module tickets might be related to this challenge. Both tickets include patches and suggested resolutions. Which might be of interest.

Indeed, @Francewhoa, this appears to be an issue with the Masquerade module itself.

I have verified that using the Masquerade block (from the Masquerade module) only (without using Masquerade float block module) still logs out the user who is only logged in via shib.

I have also verified that after applying this patch from this issue the problem no longer exists.

I am closing this issue as it does not pertain to the Masquerade float block module but does in fact pertain to the Masquerade module.
