Logout after retrieve

should be fixable with node_submit() in 4.6 and some improvements to comment_post(). hopefuly we'll get these done soon.

This logout occurs when posting comments. mailhandler_comment_submit() calls comment_post() which performs a drupal_goto() to return a page. This causes the mailhandler to stop processing mail and leave the user who submitted the comment as the currently logged in user. I've temporarily fixed this by copying the comment creation part of comment_post() into the mailhandler module. Moshe, is a fix to this problem what you are referring to when you mention upcoming "improvements to comment_post"?

yes ... note that the 4.5 version of this module has a temporary fix in it like the one that you did.
