samuel.mortensonHi @ecvandenberg - are you using the Drupal packagist in your composer.json? Drupal projects are not published as normal Composer packages.

ecvandenberg commentedHi Samuel, the issue occurred on a site that was build without Composer. And I've recently learned that starting with Composer in a not-Composer-build site is quit challenging. The method I use now is to build a Drupal site from scratch with composer, install all used modules with Composer and then replace all files and the database with the original ones. That results in a correct Composer managed site. And then the issue I reported is not there. The MailChimp module is great! Thanks.
