To prevent the below error from mismatched library versions we should improve the checking and confirmation display of the matching module and library versions.

In the admin I get a 500 error when I click on Campaigns, Lists, or Signup Forms. Unfortunately it doesn't show any error messages in the site logs. I tried the newer dev version of this module as well as the 3.3 version and still get this error. Any ideas?

If it helps the status page does report my library is installed and working.

MailChimp 1.0.3
The MailChimp MCAPI wrapper library is installed correctly.

Updated the library to 2.0.6 and still received 500 errors with versions 4.8 and 4.8dev but reverted to version 3.3 of the module and it seems to work, at least the lists pane works. Can we have some better status/error messages on mismatched library versions? Thank you for all your hard work!!
