When I tried to translate a image node, a warning says image can not be copied (or found). Then, only the original size (not thumbnail size) picture are used to display the gallery categories.

The warning is:

The selected file could not be copied, because no file by that name exists. Please check that you supplied the correct filename.

It's probably not the localizer's issue, but a bug in an image module: http://drupal.org/node/124474

Tested with latest localizer and image modules. Seems like this is fixed.
