Hi!

I started to try out Lightning Filter & Lightning WYSIWYG on a blank site & immediately ran into problems because the 7.3-dev version of Entity Embed is not working yet. I've posted the main issue & I know that they're working on cleaning up the code, but until then I don't think that it supports whats being branded as an Acquia-vetted solution.

Can this Feature be modified to use one of the more stable versions in the meantime?

Lightning Filter and Lightning WYSIWYG use the Editor module for handling WYSIWYG. As Entity Embed 2.x and 1.x require the ">CKEditor module, Lightning must use the 3.x branch.

If you run into any issues with Entity Embed 3.x, I'd suggest filing them in the module's queue.

Please note, if you're using Lightning Features outside of the Lightning or Demo Framework distributions, you'll want to pay attention to the patches that both distros include. For example, the 3.x branch of Entity Embed currently requires a core patch in order to fix #2105841: Xss filter() mangles image captions and title/alt/data attributes, which may be the source of some of the problems you're experiencing.
