The lightGallery module integrates the lightGallery library for image and video lightbox galleries into Drupal.
The provided features and dependencies differ based upon the version you install.
2.x
A complete rewrite based on lightGallery 2.x (which requires a license). It provides various field formatters for both image and media fields.
Note that there's no upgrade path from 8.x-1.x to 2.x.
Except for the lightGallery library there are no other dependencies.

8.x-1.x
Uses the deprecated 1.x version of the lightGallery library. It provides a views integration and field formatter for image fields.
