slight Problem with LDAP Auth:
auth works fine, but I can't change the password.
Drupal returns that the changes have been saved, but I can't login with the new password, but with the old.
The only interresting thing in slapd.log: connection_read(20): input error=-2 id=1218, closing.

Everything else like auth, field mapping etc. works fine.

Try activation of ldapdata.module. Set read/write-usage and the LDAP-user to one with administration rights. Then you can synchronize password and mail, e.g. with "userPassword" and "mail" in LDAP.

I think what I am seeing is the same thing. I have tried changing to Read/Write, and it did not change the LDAP bind error I am seeing when using an account whose LDAP password changed since the last successful auth and data sync on the site.

Clearing out old support requests - reopen if problem still exists in newest code (dev)

The new dev might help with this since it support more password encryption methods.

This might also be a problem with user rights on the LDAP server. You may need an user to do anonymous searches or update attributes.
