To help complete the documentation it would be great if there was an example set up which worked with Novell's eDirectory.

We are trying to get authentication to work - but currently can not get authentication to work by searching a group - but we can if we specifiy a user directly.

If anybody has any screenshots of the configuration pages for eDirectory for server/authentication/authorization etc then they would be gratefully received!

What do you mean "work by searching a group" for authentication?

With authorization disabled, does it work? What configuration options are you using? This could be the start of some documentation.

We would like to limit the users who can authenicate to the Drupal site to a group. This prevents naughty scripts from banging the login page and figuring out the users/passwords for the whole eDirectory. Only a small number of eDirectory accounts need to log in to this particular Drupal site.

We got the eDirectory authentication working - and authorisation to groups. I'll post up some settings etc after I've listed them.
