The list of projects that provide keyword extraction shows several which provide a very similar feature to this module.

One of the 7 principles of the Drupal project is collaboration. Would you consider merging your project into one of those and collaborating with it's authors?

Otherwise, it would be great if you could document what makes this module different so that people can make a good decision about which one to use.

This module differs significantly from other existing modules in that it is an analyzer that utilizes an API created for a suite of modules that do various content analysis tasks. The API allows for organization of all sorts of automated reporting on content, including readability, validation, SEO, etc. No existing modules attempt to organize automated content analysis in any manner.

Looking at your list, 3 modules (Yahoo Terms, Inform and Amplify) may be candidates to be analyzers for the Content Analysis API. Thank you for making us aware of them. Each of those modules utilize different services to collect data. The results will be different and people may find that using more than one service useful.

Title: Clarify how this differs from similar modules (or join forces) » Clarify how this differs from similar modules

Thanks for the clarification, Dustin.

I agree this does serve a somewhat different need. It would be great if you could add information about this project to that page, and clarify on the project page of Keyword Analysis what makes it different (and link to the comparison, ideally).

Hey TomDude48 - thanks for updating the project page to include the links to related projects. It would be great if you could link to this comparison on groups.drupal.org since that is more helpful to make a decision between modules than the two items you listed.

Also, "closed (works as designed)" is for situations where you don't plan to take the action suggested. If that is indeed the status you meant to select it would be great if you could explain why you feel that way.

I'm moving back to active to get your thoughts.

I added the link on the project page (under related modules). Thanks for letting me know about the statuses. I still haven't figured out what they all are for.

greggles - do you feel we still need more clarification on the project page?
