This looks very promising, thanks for your work!
After intalling the module and creating a very simple view I get this message instead.

Removing the pager seems to make the error messages disappear, but the grid is not there yet

looks like disabling and reenabling the module fixed it.

Thanks for the feed back. I am still working on it and hopefully will release a beta version soon.
