By leaving your offer in the project's issue queue, you make sure that the project's current owner and most active users see your application for co-maintainership and can comment on it. I'm moving back for now.

For a request to be complete, please also make sure that the issue summary contains:

• proof your of engangement with the project
• your motivation for seeking co-maintainership
• whether you have permision to opt into security coverage
• a record of all attempts you have made to PM the current maintainers about your offer

You can create a child issue in the Drupal.org project ownership issue queue to request assistance from the webmasters two weeks after you've tried to contact all webmasters and updated the the issue summary for this issue.

Sorry for the delay with the response.
The module actually is not in the unsupported mode.
I'm co-maintainer and author of 8.x-4.x and 8.x-5.x (dev) versions. (versions <= 7.x have minimal support level, critical bugfixing and security)
8.4 most stable and recommended for usage on sites.
8.5 will have Drupal 9 support shortly.

About the ability to give co-maintainer access - Mark did good job with 7.x versions but now it is difficult to reach him and I can't manage this kind of access. But you are welcome to contact me and create patches for 8.x versions and we need someone to clean up our 7.x issues and release the last 7.x version if possible.

If anyone is interested in me being a co-maintainer, I can help out and try to release a D9-compatible version I've been working on.

One year from last reply "8.5 will have Drupal 9 support shortly.".
Any news?

niko- has been already added as maintainer from the project owner. I am closing this issue as fixed.
