The description should say 'view their own invites', or even better for clarity, 'view the invites they have sent'.

Currently, there's only 

    'view any invite entities' => array(
      'title' => t('View any invites'),
      'description' => t('Allows users to view invites.'),
      'restrict access' => TRUE,
    ),

in the latest release and dev version. I don't see the patch above or something similar. Which means: there's currently no permission that allows to view only own invites.
