Sorry for the delayed response, Najib.

Did you have a look at Mime Mail? There is currently no built-in support for HTML e-mails, but I thought Mime Mail could also be used to "wrap" Drupal's plain text emails into a standard HTML body. Not sure, though. If you would like to take on native Mime Mail support please go ahead and post a patch, I'll happily review it and help you get it in.
