I have it working and showing pictures. Is there a way to include a link to the instagram page or a follow button?

No this is not really possible.

This article explains why instagram doesn't have a share link: http://classroom.synonym.com/follow-people-instagram-17791.html
But you can use other services like http://instafollowbutton.com/ or http://websta.me/tools to create a follow button widget and then add that code to the instagram_block template file provided by the module.
