since I upgraded from 6.x-1 to 6.x-2 in the user page there is NO more the File Browser tab

after updating I got also following error:
warning: call_user_func_array() [function.call-user-func-array]: First argument is expected to be a valid callback, 'imce_user_page_access' was given in menu.inc on line 452.

I also noticed that the "File Browser" Tab disappeared from the User's Profile page.

I did not get the error you are talking about though.

I would like the File Browser tab back for my admin users.

Don't forget to flush caches after renewing the module files.

Hello, the same thing happened to me. I went on to site configuration - IMCE - then next to Settings there's a Directory Creation Tool. Once i created a new directory through that, it came back.
I hope this works for you.

FYI, edit the imce profile, and check "Display file browser tab in user profile pages."
