The problem is described earlier here. I use Drupal 5.6 with the latest FCKeditor en IMCE. With FireFox 2.0.11, i see the browse button in the image dialog, in IE 6.0.2900 the button is gone. Because the button works in FireFox, i don't think that this is a problem with the user-rights. A Javascript problem? Something else?

markusH commentedsame problem here but with safari 3 under mac os 10.4.x.
however, the following steps bring on the browse button:
1) view page.
2) click on edit to bring on the editor.
3) click on image button: image pop up appears - no browse button.
4) close pop-up window (cancel)
5) reload edit-page
6) click on image button: image pop-up appears - this time WITH browse button.
maybe that's something similar happening with the ie?
cheers
markus

mkootker commentedThe above mentioned steps helps also in IE 7. The strange thing is that user #1 doesn't have this problem. Everybody else with admin rights (which is everything, just as user #1) has this problem.

btoland commentedGetting exactly the same issue in IE7.
Also when Browse button does appear I get the following error:
Line: 165
Char: 3
Error: No such interface supported
Code: 0
URL: http://mysite.com/sites/all/modules/fckeditor/fckeditor/editor/dialog/fc...

colinrchambers commentedI had this problem when I first installed, so I didn't realise there was a button -- so I did know how IMCe was supposed to work-- and didn't realise it was only an IE bug. So please fix this soon
I have found a fix that works -- though I'm afraid I've lost the name of the person who provided it so I can't thank them
in modules/imce/imce_set_inline.js
---- old code line approx line 10
---- new code
or as the real coder put it
//- $(this).unclick().click(function() {
//+ $(this).unbind('click')
//+ $(this).click(function() {

docwilmot commentedsame problem here. reloading page works, but above fix didnt seem to work though.
another (unrelated?) problem is that when i do get the browse server button and i click it, the imce window didnt show unless i hold down ctrl key. popup blocker in ie7 i imagine.

arh1 commentednot seeing this error myself, but just wanted to point out that if the solution suggested by colinrchambers above does indeed work, this looks like a duplicate of the issue reported in node 170766 (which appears to have been fixed).

sacha commentedHi,
Im having the same problem here
Client is using IE6 and can's see the browse button.
Unfortunately, the solution is not working for him/IE6?
Also the reloading does not work.
In firefox and IE7 there is no problem.

1kenthomas commentedWhat version of jQuery are you using? Any other modules that modify jQuery?
