I added jquery_update and imce started failing. Firebug had a failure message in imce_set_tinymce.js saying that "unclick" was unknown. I found this bug report against Panels dealing with the same issue: http://drupal.org/node/163509

From that I did the following change and now imce is now working. The important thing is to call unbind('click') rather than unclick()
