hello,

i've install imageache on a drupal 5.1 website
turn the file access to "public"c
created a preset called "mini"
update my .htaccess files like this

SetHandler Drupal_Security_Do_Not_Remove_See_SA_2006_006
Options +FollowSymlinks
<IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
  #RewriteEngine off
</IfModule>

uploaded an image called "xray_nt1_3.jpg"

and try to get my image resized with my preset mini with this url
http://www.amcg56.com/files/imagecache/mini/files/xray_nt1_3.jpg

it returns an error

Fatal error: Only variables can be passed by reference in /home/amcg56.com/www/modules/imagecache/imagecache.module on line 143

my real image works well at http://www.amcg56.com/files/xray_nt1_3.jpg

This should be fixed in the 5.x-1.x dev branch, can you verify?

I've updated with the dev version listed on imagecache project at http://drupal.org/project/imagecache

and i've the same error

i've fixed it

I've comment line 143

//      if(!file_check_directory(implode("/", $tpath))) {

and add this before

      $direct = implode("/", $tpatch);
      if(!file_check_directory($direct)) {
