Well i had this all working a week ago but i think i have updated cck and maybe imagefield and now i get no imagecache folders or images created
Can someone let me know the lineup of the required modules to make this all work???
currently i have:
- imagefiled 1.9.2.18
- imagecache 1.9.2.21
- cck 1.56.2.48
although i have tried various combos of older versions
- i can create presets
- i can add them to my imagefield in my cck type
- i get no error msgs of any sort when i submit my cck type
BUT.. nothing happens.. no imagechace folders created and no images created
i do get the image uploaded and scaled as per imagefield settings but nothing happening from imagecache

elvis2 commentedhi,
I am not sure of your problem but I did want to ask, you said you got your image uploaded. Do you have image.module or upload.module installed? I can't even get the image to upload after creating a node.
Thanks

energie commentedCall to undefined function: module_exists() in .../imagecache/imagecache.module on line 181
The module_exists() function is called module_exist() in drupal 4.7 as far as I know. This is the reason for the problem.
Patch attached.

liquidcms commentedyes, i saw that as the note on the .48 commit and knew it was wrong (exists() is the drupal 5 version of command)... but i have tried older versions as well and same result.. but will make the change here...
plus that should have thrown a php error and it didin't
thanks

dopry commentedAre proper imagecache urls appearing in your output? I'm pretty sure this isn't a bug or I would have quite a few issues about it. I think it is probably in your set up, or the result of running a dev branch instead of the stable branch.
You need to provide concise directions to reproduce the bug so someone can troubleshoot it. Without this information noone can really help you.

liquidcms commentedsorry dopry.. shoulda marked this as closed.. i have it all sorted out now.
i had 2 issues:
- the cck display field settings (which still seems redundant to me, but oh well)
- and also i wasn't putting the right code into my template... but, of course once i re-read your README and added this:
everything was fine...
i now see thumbnail folder and images created the first time i view a teaser (which i thought was odd, but no problem).
As far as i can tell, eveything seems to be working well now.
Thanks a ton... great module (set of modules).
cheers,
