liquidcms commentedand more bugs...
i went to re-save existing preset and i get these errors:
- but the directory is already gone from modifying the preset above it
- also is this expected - should changing a preset wipe out all my pictures?? seems kinda destructive.
perhaps i shold be using an older version and not this one from cvs??? seemsl ike an awful lot of bugs.. but i do need this function so will fix all the bugs.. just trying to find out if i am starting from the right version ???

dopry commentedThose are only warnings that the directory didn't exist they should be suppressed by the @ before the rmdir. And yes you should probably be using a released version... However you do have IIS so I appreciate the testing. Can you verify which version from CVS you are using there should be an Id string at the head of the module. I wouldn't use HEAD.

liquidcms commentednot IIS.. did i suggest that somewhere???
i think version is the latest cvs version of field and cache
cache is: // $Id: imagecache.module,v 1.9.2.16 2006/11/30 05:58:50 dopry Exp $
field is : // $Id: imagefield.module,v 1.9.2.17 2006/12/01 06:17:21 dopry Exp $
and i just noticed you are doing both modules.. well that makes me worry a little less about where i am posting the bugs...
thanks for replying so quickly.. i need to get this sorted out in the next day or so for the project i am on.. and there definitely are at least 2 or 3 bugs here in this combo that prevent me from using this module... but i do code... so any tips if these things are new or already fixed somewhere is great.. sicne i dont want to fix something already fixed.

dopry commentedCan you experiment with those rmdirs? I can't reproduce on linux. It may be being caused by the path seperators, but only the final rmdir should be being called if it isn't a dir, but they're only warnings and should only appear in an E_ALL environment. Which I hope you aren't running in production. It should only occur if no cached images have been created as well...

dopry commentedThe rmdir errors were caused by a misplaced rmdir in imagecache_recursive_delete. This has been fix in the 4.7.x 1.x dev branch.

liquidcms commentedgreat .. thank you so much.. this module rocks!!
just starting to set things up... will certainly post any issues i find or things i fix...
btw.. it seems like it is a bit more stable on the version of my site that i have moved to server (linux)
one example is that that after doing upload img of pic isn't shown in the form before saving - but on server it does show up.
i think i may have seen an issue on this - but not sure it was stated that this works differently between windows version and linux (no, not IIS - i run apache on my windows devel box).
