That is not planned for the moment: I have a demo going online this week and hopefully I'll get it ported to Drupal 5 quickly. There is nothing really hard to convert for Drupal 5, but so far I've been making this work with the Image module and am willing to opt for Imagefield in spite; it seems Image will be deprecated at some point.

Let's see what people think of it once the demo is up, I'll finalize it accordingly and promise a Drupal 5 verison in the next 2 weeks.
