Comment #1
willvincent commentedIt seems to me that rather than patching css for this module this might be better handled by patching the file handling code in core to always rewrite file extensions as lowercase.
Comment #2
afeijoit would be better, but that is not a core bug, so Dries or Webchick will not let it be commited to D7
and I do not hack core, never
maybe there is a file system hook that would let us dp ot for iconizer?
Comment #3
willvincent commentedI'm not suggesting hacking core, I am suggesting submitting a patch for core. Whether or not it's a bug is debatable.
Comment #4
thepanz commentedI totally agree with Willvincent, can you post an issue to Drupal queue (and maybe link the new issue here)?
I'm not aware of any hook for lower-casing File paths.. any idea?
I'm going to postpone this issue, since we should rewrite *all* the other extensions to uppercase!

afeijoI have an theory, couldn't test it yet, here is the code I plan to try:
function {mymodule}_file_presave($file) {
$file->filename = strtolower($file->filename);
}
I'll post here if it worked :)
