After running v1.11 for about a year without a problem of geolocation fields appearing in map views, I installed v3.x-dev to utilise the bug fix for Address fields not populating from the Google Map location data inside inline_entity_form fields. After the installation of geolocation:3.x-dev the geolocation field data of any content created since then doesn't appear in ANY map views. And re-installing v1.11 doesn't fix the bug that was introduced by the 3.x-dev version.

The first realisation of the 3.x-dev version having bugs was when I discovered a field data problem for the existing content's data not appearing with the map markers so I posted this issue: https://www.drupal.org/project/geolocation/issues/3127840.

I've also noticed that all content that has been created since the 3.x-dev version wont appear in any view running any version of Geolocation Field.

This is marked as critical because, after many attempts, this bug cannot be reversed by re-installing the stable version.

The only way to get the content to appear in, what are supposed to be map, views is by changing the view format from Geolocation CommonMap to another format such as a table or a list. The Geolocation Layer format also shows nothing.

(I did try the RC8 version some where along the way but I traced everything breaking (including the previously linked issue) back to the first installation of the 3.x-dev version)

There is no new information in this ticket, other than your views not working, compared to your original issue. Please don't do that. Also, a lot of people successfully updated to v3, so it's not a general issue.
