More than one year without any activity, I wonder if it is still maintained and under development... no news about a wannabe Drupal 8 version

Currently active development is not conducted.
Corrected only bugs that affect the operation of the module. Currently, there is no open bugs.

Developing for Drupal 8 is probably irrelevant. Since the module is not popular, and there are more popular modules that has a similar functionality

As far as I know flickrup is the only one with upload to Flickr capabilities, isn't it?

Yes, as far as I know this is the only module with the ability to upload.
But I have no free time and resources to porting it.

Ok, this is what I wanted to know. This should probably put on evidence in the main page of the module so that other users can know that there won't be a D8 version, unless you won't seek for a co-maintainer who is willing to accomplish that task. Tnx
