I feel like this has GOT to be a dumb question, but after much self-inflicted torture trying to figure it out, I just have to ask.

HOWWW do I "call/request" photos by tag?

And/or, how do I use flickr_photos_search (function, from flickr.inc)?

Any guidance at all would be just wonderful. Thank you, I really appreciate your time.

Does no-one know how to fetch Flickr photos by tag yet?
Aside from photosets which work great I want to know how people are using flickr on their website?
If the photos they are fetching are not relevant to their taxonomy how else can the flickr integration be useful?
Recent and random don't seem to add anything for me.

Am I missing something?

I haven't found a way yet -- though I ended up using FeedAPI (mapping the images to filefields) instead anyway.

This looks like it might be what we both were looking for, though:

(I haven't tried it, I actually didn't even see it way back when I was originally trying to do this. Would love to do so, though. If I do, I'll report back here how it goes.)
