there is a field "session_id" missing when I update flag module from flag-8.x-4.0-alpha1 to flag-8.x-4.0-alpha2.
The module flag-8.x-4.0-alpha2 added a field "session_id" in project.But when site update the module from flag-8.x-4.0-alpha1 to flag-8.x-4.0-alpha2, the field "session_id" is not added to sql;

I add the field by handwork ,it works!

Just in case, drush — updb —entity-updates -y worked for us.
