Currently, Embedding files in a text area is only possible by selecting existing files using the FF Gallery feature.
It would be great to allow the upload of a new file at the time of embedding, exactly the same way than attachments

Closing the issue. It was inactive for a long time & it's related to a Drupal Version which is not supported anymore
