quicksketchClear your caches and the menu system should rebuild.
Comment #2
sahuni commentedupgrading from 6.3.4 to 6.3.5 worked for me
Comment #3
giorgoskI would swear that I already did clear my caches
but aparently I did not ... thanks quicksketch it seems to work
Comment #4
chrisssi commentedI have problems since upgrading to filefield 6.x-3.5.
Uploaded files could bei decribed (the text the visitors see) by typing text in a description field beside the Uploadfield.
Since 3.5 I can't edit this textfield. Written Text is dying in nirvana when saving the node.
I cleared the cache! So what could be my problem?
(I've checked late that there was an upgrade, so I upgraded from 3.3 directly to 3.5)
Edit: I downgraded back to 3.3. My file descriptions are back again and I can edit them again. Waiting for another patch.

greenmother commentedhave this problem too (after clearing cache and rebuilding menu)
i dont understand why it called with one argument. temporary solution: replace
function filefield_edit_access($type_name, $field_name) {to
function filefield_edit_access($type_name, $field_name='') {Comment #6
quicksketchYou need to upgrade FileField Sources to the 1.1 version.
Comment #7
chrisssi commentedThanks for replying.
@quicksketch
I don't use the filefield sources module.
@greenmother
I changed the line in filefield.module but without success :(
Comment #8
quicksketchHm. Then make sure you clear your caches after upgrading. The filefield_edit_access() function is stored in the menu system cache and needs to be updated with additional parameters after the upgrade.
Comment #9
chrisssi commented-- OK I'll try.
Is an upgrade allready done by opening the path /admin/build/modules ?
Which "additional parameters" are meant?
The update.php "says" nothing to do?!
Edit: So I did the upgrade in 2 steps. 3.3 -> 3.4
- then I cleared the cache /admin/settings/performance
- then I reopened the site /admin/build/modules
I've edited the filefield.module like above =''
2nd step was the upgrade 3.4 -> 3.5
- then (see 1st step)
- then (see 1st step)
I also edited the filefield.module in v 3.5.
After all these steps I can't get it to work :( DAMN
very frustrated I must give up for this moment.
Comment #10
chrisssi commented....ok I figured out the responsible module.
I'va activated the filefield meta in combination with the getID3() module (installed Version is 1.7.9 - latest stable)
I deactivated the getID3() and the FileField Meta - and voila it's working with filefield 3.5.
Now the question:
What could be buggy in FileField Meta or getID3() module? For the moment I've let both (meta and getid3) deactivated to get rid of the problem with the upload descriptions.
:)

threexk commentedToday I updated directly from 6.x-3.3 with Drush, which clears the cache after performing updates, and still got this error when I uploaded an image in an Image field. Only after clearing the cache a second time (manually through Performance page) did the error stop occurring. Something seems amiss.
Specifics:
I used the command 'drush up' to update CCK, Views, and FileField simultaneously. I then went to a page to add a CCK node, and uploaded an image into an Image field. The error appeared after I clicked "Upload".

YK85 commentedI am still getting the below message even after flushing cache many times.
Can anyone please assist?
