I have a very specific use case which for which "Flickr API" and related modules is not suitable.
I need a module that reads Flickr sets, copies the images to the drupal site as image files, and creates nodes with those image files.
Flickr API leaves the image assets on Flickr and just hotlinks them.
(There may be some kind of local caching mechanism in Flickr API, but i need full-fledged nodes with the flickr images in cck image fields, not a separate cck "flickr field".)
Does "Feeds: Flickr" copy the image from Flickr to the drupal site, and make them available for cck image fields?

dragonwize commentedNo this just exposed the flickr feeds elements to the feeds module. If you want to save the data from the feed that would be handled by the node storage plugin inside of feeds module.
