quicksketchYes, you can theme the user login block and use the documentation in README.txt to add it to the login block. This module intentionally does not add the FB connect button to the login form (in the block or on the page) because it's likely to either display poorly (if you have other modules enabled for login also) or conflict (if you have something like LoginToboggan enabled).

Bright Web Design commentedThank you so much for the quick reply. I wanted to add this "facebook login button" on both user login block and user login page, so I thought it would be better to use the theme overriding function (in template.php) and I tried different ways to implement this but there was no much success.
Could you please tell me a way to display this facebbok login button on both user login block and user login page using theme overriding function?
I know I am being so greedy to ask you for this help, at least some tips will help me to go through this.
Thanks in advance.

quicksketchSorry I don't help with custom coding questions in the issue queue. Everything I'd normally explain is already provided in the README.txt file for this module.

ramirez.gerardo commentedHi,
Not sure if this is still needed. I had the same feature request for my blog and I created a quick module that provides a similar function.
You can check it out here: http://drupal.org/sandbox/ramirez.gerardo/1782994
If I get a lot of feedback and followers, I'll add more functionality like an admin setting like the twitter module has.

okday commentedhi,
can you tell me how I can download your sub module please?
thank you.

gittosj commentedSurely its much easier to use the fboauth and twitter login blocks and configure them tio appear only on /user/login and /user/register - css will take care of all your positioning issues

kingfisher64 commented@quicksketch - I understand your decision however I'm using logintoboggan and that sandbox button works perfectly. There's is no conflict. Would you consider that decision again, it's so handy to have the link for consistency outputing the user login block next to the twitter one (if desired).
This works great thank you gerardo.
Attached is the button I downloaded from git as the link in #8 is retuning a 404 not found at present.

spgd01 commentedI for one would love the sub module (http://drupal.org/sandbox/ramirez.gerardo/1782994) added so I can use logintoboggan with FBOauth
