Modules are not yet updated to D7, and people is encouraged to report an issue. Currently, api.drupal.org points to Drupal (documentation project) issue queue. I don't know, can a.d.o be instructed to point here?

Yes, the api module can now do contrib modules, and that's the plan. I haven't yet made the request for this. You're way ahead of me, and very much appreciated!

I believe the path forward on this is to talk to Drumm in IRC about this issue.
