After setting up the website with very little problems, I installed the events module along with the required associated modules such as calendar and date etc
The event module seems to be working ok and listing the events and event details, calendar block works fine etc
but my problems is ....
When viewing the website as a guest anonymous and also authorised user
View and Repeats tabs appear at the top of the event details page ......
Does anyone know where the settings to remove this are? I have looked around but not found it yet :(
also......
The page content I have created also shows View and Repeat tabs at the top of the page...
The View and Repeat tabs only seem to appear on pages, not on module driven content such as weblinks, polls, blogs etc just on the "static" content pages
Another "weird" thing is that the start date and time zone used for events now appears on page content.....
As page content is just page content it doesnt need view or repeat tabs, nor does it need a start and timezone at the top of the page.
So I need to first of all in priority order
Remove View, Repeats, Start and Timezone from the top of Pages
Secondly remove the view and repeats tabs from the top of event details
If anyone can help out or point me in the right direction this would be greatly appreciated, this is my first Drupal install so I am still getting familiar with the way it works.
I will keep searching and reading help files etc but a quick help and fix would be great

wobby commentedJust a quick update on this problem in case anyone else has the same issues I have
I have managed to get rid of the start time and timezone from the top of the pages
I went to Admin - Content Management - Content Types
I found the Page settings and clicked Edit
Near the bottom there are options for Event Calendar, I opened this and selected Never
Thats has got rid of the start time and timezone from the top of my "static" pages :)
I still need to find out how to remove those bloody View and Repeats tabs from the top of the page
If anyone could help it sure would be appreciated

Anonymous (not verified) commentedMy experience was that when I set up the Date field on my new Content Type, I must have opted for a widget with Repeat facility.
i.e. When adding a new field, selected type Date then there is a list of 'widget options' with e.g. Select List, Select List with Repeat Options etc.
I didn't want Repeats so I found the only way to get rid of the [Repeat] tab was to remove the Date field I set and add another one without Repeats.
