Is there a way to import data into the event module? I have another mysql database filled with events and would need to be able to display its data in the event module. Where would I have to start looking if I'd have to code an importer myself and is it feasible without having to modify module core files?

i'd love to se this too. especially if it could be integrated with feedapi to pull my upcoming.com rss feed. any ideas/takers?

Hi,

module "Node import" (http://drupal.org/project/node_import) does the job. I got it to work with Drupal 5.2, but not with version 6.2 yet.

You might also have a look at http://drupal.org/node/254943 regarding the correct date/time format.

No, this is curently not possible. There are some ical import functions in ical.inc but they probably do not work.

I tried my hands at a very first version for importing Event nodes with Node import module (both version 6):

You might give it a try but it is still far from perfect.

Event for Drupal 8 is unrelated to older versions. If an issue similar to this one exists, please open a new issue with the 8.x branch.
