Seems like there is an error in the function event_filter_nodes.

Seems like what the problem code is doing is looping through the $nodes array, and if it finds one node that matches event_type = all then it returns all events.
Even if only one event matches that and the rest are event_type = solo.

Attached is the quick patch to fix the issue and make the code true to the comment above it.

This patch does not apply anymore. I also think that the problem has already been addressed.

Event for Drupal 8 is unrelated to older versions. If an issue similar to this one exists, please open a new issue with the 8.x branch.
