heine commentedYou can't use the 4.6 version on drupal 4.7. You can however try the CVS version.

r_naren22 commentedCan i directly install the CVS Version on 4.7???
Or do i need to do any prerequisits???
Because once i installed the CVS version on 4.6, i endedup having a crash site.
I would appreciate any steps that need to be taken for a safe installation.
and how to revert back the changes,
thanks

heine commentedCVS means 'in development'. The CVS version is specific / targeted to 4.7; that's why it disrupts your 4.6 site.
Use CVS with caution i.e. on a test site.
If you don't know how to restore sites from backup I strongly recommend not to go near the CVS version.

gordon commentedAt this point in time, the version of E-Commerce which resides in CVS is working towards a 4.7 release which is going to happen over the next month.
What is in CVS will be released as 4.7 very soon.

sime@r_naren22. closing this ticket assuming you're happy with the info. Keep an eye out for news about ecommerce 4.7 release.
If you are installing ecommerce CVS. Feel free ask about specific modules and their status, here or on IRC irc.freenode.org - #drupal-ecommerce.
