Only subtotal price is carried through to PayPal [#52904]

I have set a shipping price for my products and when I add a product to the cart the order summary displays the subtotal, shipping cost and total.

When I click on 'place your order' the price in PayPal is just the subtotal. Shipping cost and tax are not included.

Does anyone know why this is?

Shipping costs do show up for me on PayPal, but taxes are not.

In paypal.module the subtotal is sent and also the shipping is sent separately. But the taxes are not included at all. One solution would be to send the gross total instead of the subtotal, but the shipping is already included in this. So you should send the gross total minus the shipping. The fix is simple, see the attached patch.
