I plan to port this module to drupal 7 but I must finish the version 2 before doing so. I am not sure that it will be ready for the D7 official release.

I've converted alpha-3 of 6.x branch of the module to Drupal 7.
The module is working for me, but there are several things that I thought the maintainer should take a look at.
Just check the comments with #D7UP marker.

I have checked your Drupal7 version of dynamic persistent menu, unfortunately it doesn't work.
I got this error soon after enabled the module and also it displays on the module configuration page.
