Problem/Motivation

As an event organizer, I may have many people working on my event who should be able to change our info. Currently only the poster can edit an event.

Proposed resolution

Option 1: Anyone listed as an "Organizer" can edit the event node.
Option 2: An additional field for assigning editors.

Remaining tasks

Decide on a path and implement.

froboy created an issue. See original summary.

This was proposed by @bsnodgrass during a Drupal for Non-profits call. I think assigning all Organizers edit permission on events should work from a workflow perspective, but open to other folks thoughts.

It seems that this issue is fixed? As an organiser I can edit an event I made earlier. Only local images are allowed.

The issue is only the person who created the event can edit it. We want other organizers to be able to edit.

I concur, this is a great idea! What would be involved with making this type of change?

I'd imagine this is a heavy enough lift that it'd need to wait until D.o is upgraded to D10. Could maybe be a use case for ECA if it's on there.

Reading the history, I had forgotten about it. ECA does sound like a great fit for it.
