Problem/Motivation

#2305759: Decide on the list of user contributions to be included on user profiles will decide what the items should be.

We also want icons for them.

But we do not need to wait for final icons to update the checklist or the reorganization on the profile.

Proposed resolution

Make icons for each of these items:

  • I contribute Drupal patches
  • I contribute Drupal modules
  • I contribute Drupal themes
  • I contribute Drupal distributions
  • I participate in Drupal issue queues (discussions, bug reports, etc.)
  • I contribute to Drupal.org
  • I contribute Drupal documentation
  • I contribute Drupal translations
  • I help organize DrupalCon
  • I contribute Drupal automated tests
  • I participate in Drupal contribution sprints
  • I review Project applications
  • I review Drupal patches
  • I contribute to Drupal UX initiatives
  • I help in the Drupal support forums
  • I provide Drupal-related services
  • I give support on IRC
  • I help mentor new contributors
  • I volunteer at Drupal events
  • I speak at Drupal events
  • I organize local user groups
  • I organize local and regional Drupal events
  • I publish a Drupal-related blog or podcast
  • I serve on the Drupal Association Board
  • I serve on a Drupal or Drupal.org working group

@YesCT Are we planning to make font icons for the item list in contribution ? or something else ?

I just made this issue to separate out the other part so it could proceed. I do no know if anyone is planning to actually make the icons.
Is your question about what kind of icons? font or otherwise? That I am not an expert in, but I remember font icons having an advantage for translation, but I dont know what the relevant pros and cons are for this profile part of d.o.

changing to active since there is no work yet. See the handbook page about issue status https://www.drupal.org/node/156119

typically, needs work is what happens when work is has begun, but a review indicates it is not rtbc and the review identified things that.. need work.

So I think here we are waiting for icons... (images? files) or a patch that can be reviewed.
