Metatag for D8 has DrupalConsole integration to make it easier to create new meta tags by using a generator. The generator creates PHP code. When working on a patch to update the integration to work with the latest API changes in DrupalConsole (#2663650: Fix the DrupalConsole tag generator) the testbot started barfing on one of the files because it was invalid PHP code. Well, it's invalid PHP code because it's actually a twig file that happens to also contain PHP code. So is testbot running a PHP parser on twig files, and if so, why?

The latest version of drupalci probably does not have this issue. It only syntax checks files ending in .php that were modified by a patch, not generated files.
