"Describe this content type. It will be displayed on the Add new content page."
What is "it" here? This should say "This text will be displayed", just like the description above on the same page.
This is from admin/structure/types/manage/(content type name)

jhodgdonOh, and while we're at it, a bit above there on the Name field:
"The human-readable name of this content type. This text will be displayed as part of the list on the add new content page"
The page name should be capitalized: "Add new content".

jhodgdonAnd lower down, in Submission settings:
"This text will be displayed at the top of the page when creating new content of this type."
It should say "creating or editing content of this type"
jhodgdonStill further down, in Publishing options:
"Users with the administer nodes permission will be able to override these options."
The permission is capitialized, and has been renamed to "Administer content".
jhodgdonAnother problem:
"Length of trimmed posts" (this is in the Display Settings section) - we aren't using the word "post" for content any more.
jhodgdonOne more thing: Near the top, I am not sure why "spaces" is in bold, in "It is recommended that this name begin with a capital letter and contain only letters, numbers, and spaces. This name must be unique."
jhodgdonHere's a patch that fixes the above issues.
jhodgdonHere are some screen shots for the parts of the screen.

Bojhan CreditAttribution: Bojhan commentedYup, quick fixes - looks oke (attacks most standards violations). Obviously the book page is missing the machine_name interaction, but thats not to be attacked in this patch - off to RTBC
