Hi, im new to all this, so sorry if this has already been submitted/fixed

in beta4, if you turn the calendar block on it highlights your current day with a light blue background. if you move to a different day (if you created a post, say yesterday, you can click on yesterday on the calendar) then a darker blue layer is put on top of the number (the date number) obscuring it. it goes away if you hover over it.
this happens in both the default bluemarine theme, and pushbutton.

hope this helps..

drupal rocks :)

Title: Calendar CSS problem » Archive Calendar CSS problem
Version: 4.7.0-beta4 » 4.7.0

I can confirm this bug, the steps to repeat were:

1. base install with archive module enabled and calendar block enabled
2. create a node on a given day (say, yesterday)
3. click on that day in the calendar block

Expected results:
Color of day is visible in contrast against background color

Actual results:
Color of day is dark blue and the link gets colored with the same dark blue color

Please provide a patch against the Drupal CSS file, if you have better ideas for color. This can only be fixed on the 4.7.x branch, since arhive module is not going to be in the next Drupal version.

This is real simple... marking as RTBC (otherwise it will stay here forever)!
