The CKEditor module for Drupal 7 (https://www.drupal.org/project/ckeditor) offered support for external file browsers, like CKFinder. You could simply install the module including CKFinder and then select CKFinder as the file manager in the configuration page.
Since Drupal 8, CKEditor is part of the Drupal core. However, I could not find any official information on whether it is still possible to use CKFinder with Drupal 9 or if Drupal 9 does no longer support CKFinder. Furthermore, I did not find a configuration option as described above in Drupal 9.
Could anyone please advise me on whether using CKFinder in Drupal 9 is possible and if yes, how to enable and use the CKFinder?
