Change the wording to something like "Allows users to configure the display and form display by arranging fields in several columns."

Should we say "administrators" instead of "users", as this tends to be an administration task?

Thanks for working on this!

We generally refer just to "users" without making any assumptions on roles in these kind of texts.
The important point here is to say that people can do something with the module rather than the module providing something fixed or perfoming an automated task.

This looks great to me. It's an improvement on its own, and also helps with #2999719: Update the Layout Builder module description and clarify how it differs from Field Layout.

As a string change, this is eligible for commit to 8.7.x only. Committed thereto. Thanks!
