Hi there!
I experienced weird behaviour after upgrading our site from 8.4.2 to 8.5.1. I'm not sure what exactly caused this issue.
Also this issue could be connected to this issue - https://www.drupal.org/project/drupal/issues/2905295
Description.
I set up Drupal 8.4.2 site in English, then I enabled Ukrainian, which is set as default. I configured few views (pages and blocks) and added translations. View's pages have menus.
As it was recommended to upgrade Drupal because of security issue - https://www.drupal.org/SA-CORE-2018-002 - I decided to upgrade our site to 8.5.1.
After upgrade of Drupal core and translations, via Available translation updates page, I noticed that in English version of site menus which had been created through Views are shown in Ukrainian.
I opened /en/admin/structure/views page and noticed that most of the views titles and descriptions are shown in Ukrainian while interface language is English as seen from the path. It's worth to mention that not only those views I created shown in Ukrainian, some of the out of the box too, for example, Watchdog, who_s_online etc. But, for example, taxonomy_term, comments_recent and content_recent are shown in English.
I had to recover View's Administrative names, pages and blocks titles, and page's menus.
That's all for now.

lendudeSounds like #2943798: Resaving views in postupdate writes language overrides?

akupaka commented@Lendude , yes, it looks like this is the same, although I'm new to Drupal so can't say what code caused this issue.

quietone commentedI have looked at the related issue and I think this is a duplicate of that one.
Therefore, closing as a duplicate. If that is wrong, reopen the issue, by setting the status to 'Active', and add a comment.
Thanks!
